In accordance with decree n\u00b093\/633\/PM of 17 September 1993, establishing the National Commission for the Evaluation of Training Provided Abroad, amended and supplemented by decree n99\/901\/PM of 30 December 1999,
\nIt is recalled that the evaluation of training demains offered abroad by the Ministry of Higher Education is part of a procedure whose main stages are as follows:
\n1- Request for equivalence (free form available at the Ministry of Higher Education and on the website https:\/\/www.minesup.gov.cm);
\n2- Authentication by the competent services;
\n3- Examination by the National Commission for The Evaluation of Training demains Offered Abroad;
\n4- Issue of equivalence. However, in order to facilitate academic mobility, candidates who have applied for equivalence and, after authentication of their foreign certificate, can request an Attestation of Recognition of the said certificate.
\nThe Attestation of Recognition of a foreign certificate is automatically established, on stamped request, by the Department in charge of the Coordination of Academic Activities of the Ministry of Higher Education, in the following cases:
\nthe foreign certificate is subject to a bilateral or multilateral convention of mutual recognition of certificates between Cameroon and the country of origin of the certificate;
\nthe foreign certificate is subject to an inter-university agreement for the mutual recognition of certificates between the Cameroonian and foreign universities concerned, endorsed by the Ministry of Higher Education;
\nthe foreign certificate is registered in the table of equivalences granted in Cameroon.
\nApart from the cases mentioned above, the Attestation of Recognition is issued with prior authorization of the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Chancellor of Academic Orders.<\/p>\n
