Le Ministre d’Etat, Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur et le Ministre des Travaux Publics informent les étudiants qu’ils organisent pour le compte de l’année académique 2022/2023 en partenariat avec l’Université de Padoue en Italie, un concours d’entrée en 1ère année du cycle d’ingénieur (MEng) (BAC/GCE ALs + 5 ans) à l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Travaux Publics de Yaoundé pour la formation de 330 étudiants dans les spécialités suivantes : Génie Civil, Génie Environnement, Topographie-Cadastre et Urbanisme.
Ce concours s’adresse uniquement aux titulaires (ou sous réserve de l’obtention) d’un des diplômes suivants : Baccalauréat C, D, E, F, TI ; G.C.E (ALs) avec Mathématiques et Physique ou Chimie obtenues en une session ou tout autre diplôme admis en équivalence par le Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur.

The Construction work of the seat of the Pan African University in Yaounde is progressing suitably

The future headquarters of the rectorate of the Pan-African University in Yaoundé will include seven levels (a basement, a ground floor and five floors). It will be 28 m high occupy a surface area of 2,825 m2, with 120 rooms intended in particular, for the board of the directors, the senate (senate), the three Vice-Rectors, the secretary General, the PAN-African virtual university etc. The cost building is 8,833,152,883 CFA francs, all taxes included.

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education chaired on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 on behalf of the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Chancellor of Academic Orders, the second session of the ad-hoc Technical Commission in charge of operations relating to the issuance of certificates under the authority of the Ministry of Higher Education, in the Conference Room of the Higher Teacher Training College of the University of Yaounde 1. ln attendance to this meeting were representatives of the eight State Universities and the Public Higher Education Establishments with a Special Status and placed under the academic supervision of the Ministry of Higher education, the statutory members, experts, Guests and Private Higher Education Institutes. After the opening address by the Secretary General, representative of the Minister of State, and the action framework by the Director for the Coordination of Academic Activities, two main articulations structured the meeting, including interventions relating to the presentation of an inventory of the award of certificates by the supervisors of the three sub-working groups and communication from three experts on the following themes :    Download the final press release

Le Secrétaire Général du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur a présidé le Mercredi 11 mai 2022, au nom de Monsieur le Ministre d’Etat, Ministre de L’Enseignement Supérieur, Chancelier des Ordres Académiques, la deuxième Session de la Commission Technique ad hoc chargée des opérations relatives à la Délivrance des diplômes relevant du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur dans la Salle des Actes de l’Ecole Normale Supérieure de l’Université de Yaoundé 1. Y prenaient part, outre les représentants des huit Universités d’Etat et les Etablissements Publics d’Enseignement Supérieur à Statut Particulier sous tutelle Académique du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur, les membres statutaires, les Experts, les Invités et les Instituts Privés d’Enseignement Supérieur. En visite de travail au Cameroun, le Commissaire de l’Union Africaine en charge de l’éducation, des sciences et technologies et de l’innovation (le Professeur MOHAMED BELHOCINE) s’est rendu, le vendredi 13 mai 2022, sur le site du futur siège du Rectorat de l’Université Panafricaine en construction au lieu-dit Nkolmefou, non loin de l’aéroport international de Yaoundé-Nsimalen, à la suite d’une importante séance de travail avec le Ministre d’Etat, Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur, le 12 mai 2022. Proceedings of the 104th and 105th Ordinary Sessions of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Training Provided Abroad (CNE) / Travaux des 104ème et 105ème sessions ordinaires de la Commission Nationale d’Evaluation des Formations Dispensées à l’Etranger (CNE)

On behalf of the Minister of State, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education presided over the 104th and 105th ordinary sessions of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Training Provided Abroad, on this Thursday 12 May 2022, in the conference room of the Higher Teachers’ Training College of Yaounde. These twin sessions open the year 2022 with 1987 files to review.
Professor NYONGBET Wilfred GABSA, Secretary General of the Ministry of Higher Education recalled that these sessions are held in a context marked by the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and by the limitation of travel abroad, as part of the barrier measures to fight against the spread of COVID-19. Consequently, no external missions were carried out to authenticate the diplomas. This is the main reason for the low number of applications submitted to these sessions of the CNE. There were 994 applications for the 104th session and 993 for the 105th. One also notes 15 rejections, 18 false diplomas and two pending applications. (suite…)

Second ordinary session of the ad hoc Technical Commission in charge of operations for the issue of diplomas under the Ministry of Higher Education

The works of the second session of the ad hoc Technical Commission in charge of operations for the issue of diplomas under the Ministry of Higher Education took place this Wednesday 11 May 2022, in the Conference Room of the Higher Teachers’ Training College of Yaounde. Under the thumb of the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Chancellor of Academic Orders, the actors of the sub-sector of Higher Education gathered during this moment of reflection and sharing of experiences were focused on the implementation of optimal strategies for an annual and efficient graduation in the State Universities, and in the Public Institutes of Higher Education with special status under tutelage. These include the National Institute of Youth and Sports (INJS), the National Advanced School of Public Works (ENSTP), the National Advanced School of Posts, Telecommunications and Information and Communication Technologies (SUP’PTIC), and the Limbe Nautical Arts and Fisheries Institute (LINAFI).
